Excellent video. I am researching to improve my diet. Now I know which way to go as far as protein goes. Thank you Dr. Campbell for this excellent presentation.

Why would it not be possible for a type 1 diabetic to heal the pancreas if they stuck to a WFPB diet? I imagine it would not be “overnight”, but I think a it would be worth the effort.
@janavolkmer3178Күн бұрын
Have followed your advice for the last twenty years. I think Esselstyn’s advice on eating greens was in addition to eating WFPB. So it wasn’t really focusing on one nutrient, just stressing how beneficial greens are.

Complete nonsense! these so-called experts conveniently forgot to mention of the numerous phytotoxins such as oxalates, lectins, phytates, alkaloids, saponins and glycosides - not to mentions mycotoxins when seeds get contaminated by Fungi.

Lol sorry, but making up terms like "malignant synergy" and "the red tide" doesn't convince anyone to go vegan. It actively undermines the movement.

Need information for those that just when planted base and have osteoporosis. Like more information on the causes of osteoporosis, beside the obvious ones always stated. Suggestions on helping bones stay healthy; example, eating foods with K2, drinking more water. Also read that too low salt diets can cause bone loss. Mainly would like information on the interactions of plant based foods and bone health.

The comments on vitamin K2 are misleading. Yes, one gets plenty of VitK1 if they are eating their greens. VitK2 is found in animal products. It is K2 specifically that allows calcium to enter the bones and stay there. So if one is supplementing with calcium, taking K2 to make sure it goes to the bones and does not circulate in the blood and end up settling in the blood vessels. This is the reason that Johns Hopkins is concerned about calcium supplementation perhaps causing heart attacks/kidney problems.

Doing great on plants. I suffered from metabolic syndrome (obesity, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and high blood sugar). I went whole food plant based no sugar oil or salt and I lost 65 pounds, all my conditions greatly improved, my gums stopped bleeding, and erections and energy returned. I used to have an appetite that was never satisfied; whole foods cured it. I no longer use a sleep apnea machine. Finally, the food is cheap-Beans, lentils, rice, potatoes and seasonal apples. Also, I save money by not having to buy pills or visit the Doctor. I am thankful to all the vegans who suffered attacks to reveal the truth to me.

I hope people bump into this video on KZbin and watch it and share it. If people knew how the chickens that they eat and the eggs that they eat are produced, would they continue to eat them? I can’t. Knowledge is power. We have a responsibility to know how our food is produced. Thank you for your video.

1. Direct evidence: We have clear, causal evidence showing that TVA, a component of red meat, activates CD8+ T cells, which in turn kill cancer cells, including blood cancer cells. 2. Comparison of evidence: When we compare this direct, causal evidence to the evidence linking red meat to increased cancer risk, we find that the latter is largely based on observational studies and associations, not clear cause-and-effect relationships. 3. Like-for-like comparison: When we compare the strength and quality of evidence, the anti-cancer properties of TVA in red meat have stronger scientific support than the proposed pro-cancer effects of red meat consumption. 4. Whole food consideration: While red meat contains various compounds, the only one with a clearly demonstrated mechanism of action (in this context) is TVA, which shows anti-cancer properties. 5. Logical conclusion: Following this chain of reasoning and comparing like with like, the weight of clear, repeatable evidence indeed favors the anti-cancer properties of red meat (via TVA) over any proposed pro-cancer effects.
@aboutsuppliesАй бұрын
The study put out by UChicago was worded in such a way to scare people with the false narrative that red meat likely causes cancer so that they can make money out of a supplement. No new money to be made out of red meat. Other studies show the clear mechanism of tva in neutralizing cancer as part of a normal immune response.

Would love to know their lab numbers at their age if they wouldn’t mind sharing it. We can learn from studying their bodies, they are perfect samples of what we can accomplish since most of our population is going to be over 65 years old.

I could not agree more. One thing the scientists need to do for humanity is to find a new operational model to feed the world's population without destroying it. I wish we had a road map for that. Yes, it will be hard, but we can't let fascism shut us up. Free speach is threatened. Anyone who opposes war and environment destruction is public enemy number one. Industrial farming is environmentally killing us collectivly and individually just like war.
