Sir I also have Sony A58 camera but the video recording option is 50i but 60i is not showing. And there is no option to set Ntfsc & Pal either. Sir please how do I set my camera to 60i video recording

Video > Do not use alcohol to clean your camera. So I did a simple search and first result is from canon europe and it tells me you can use isopropyl or ethanol alcohol on a cloth to clean the camera, 'especially areas that are frequently touched, such as grips, dials, buttons or touch screens'.

These videos are great except for 1 thing--the music overlay. That music is very annoying and really interferes with the clarity of the spoken word. I wish they would fire every sound engineer as their music overlay is always WAY WAY WAY too loud. Please spare me the grief.

the AF mode button is actually the centre button of the AF/MF button. Took me ages to realise.

I was just gifted one of these cameras and I get the feeling I will be watching your videos and asking a lot of questions. First question please, can I charge the battery while it's in the camera or must I use the charging unit? I was given the camera, a lens and I think an extra battery all inside a nice carrying case.

Disregard my question about charging the battery. Upon closer inspection, the extra battery I saw (but did not remove from the bag) had the charging unit attached to it.
