Imho - Zeke was the better team player as he can direct and be the "general" the entire team at ALL TIMES. Nash was also very good with assisting other teammates but not as intense than Zeke. This may also be attributed to Zeke playing with high-caliber teammates more than Nash which is also a big factor why the former captured (2) rings. Nash for me was the better individual player as his stats will prove. It's really a toss up, but for me I highly respect more the accomplishments of Zeke being the next best PG just behind Magic all-time.

How do you compare Isiah & Steve ? A fake mvp averaging 15 pts & 10 assists in those seasons. And a two time nba champion and finals mvp… aside from his stat that in a career where better. I thought it was all about the championships though. So how the comparison.

Thomas is better and it’s not even close, I hate Isiah for not chalking hands after being swept by the bulls, I hate him for questioning Magics sexuality when the HIV announcement came out, I hate him for trying to act like Bird wasn’t great when he made his “just another black guy” comments regarding Bird, I hate the sexual misconduct in New York BUT only an absolute idiot would ever think Kidd was better than Thomas

Stockton: - In single-game assists, he holds 3 of the top 4 spots. - In single-season assists, he holds the top 4 spots and 7 of the top 9. - Led the league in assists 9 seasons. - 2nd in assists per game behind Magic. - Most career assists all time with over 30% more than Kidd. One could make a case for Magic holding title over Stockton since he has the top spot in assists per game and didn’t play for four seasons to tally the career numbers. After that, only Oscar comes to mind since he is 3rd in per-game assists even though he passed up many assist opportunities due to his own scoring (11th all-time in PPG). Jason Kidd a top-10 assist man? Fine. The Assist King? No way.

The more legitimate comparison is between Dwight Howard and another Georgetown University graduate. Alonzo Mourning. I fielded this question a few years ago. Who’s better Dwight Howard versus Alonzo Mourning. While they are more similar than Howard versus Ewing. Again mourning just like Ewing was the greater center and greater player. Dwight Howard’s closest competitor among former Georgetown NBA centers would be Dikembe Mutombo. Both centers were primarily shot blockers 😮 who rebounded really well. Neither of the two were great or dependable offensive weapons
