CV64 and it's rerelease/expansion Legacy of Darkness, is, IMO, the best 3D representation of Castlevania to date. Say what you will about the poorly-aged graphics, but the sense of uneasiness and isolation in the soundtrack and level design, is peak Castlevania mood. It's incredible how different the game is compared to its immediate predecessor, the legendary Symphony of the Night.

oh HECK yeah, sandsea. i loved this place the most in SS I think. :) awesome arrangement and cover. It really keeps that vibe the original had but elevates it a bit. Feels clearer here.
