Hey I had this same problem about a week ago where Nivdia broadcast stop working for me. It wouldn’t let me use my camera. So after I did this trick in the video, it let me select my camera and started working again. The only problem was when I tried to use it OBS it wouldn’t work again. So I WENT BACK AN UPDATE AND EVERYTHING IS RUNNING FINE AGAIN. I hope this message helps someone!

Thank you so much for this. Tried everything for weeks to get my Elgato Cam Link 4K working in Broadcast (which was working until recently) and this finally set me on the right path. I should add that when I went into the NVIDIA Services, as you did in the video, both of the NVIDIA options you identified were already running correctly (seemingly). So instead of starting them, which I couldn't, I STOPPED them, then started them again. That resolved my issue. UPDATE: The fix doesn't appear to be permanent. Issue has returned every time I restart Broadcast. I need to stop Services each time I use it, and it doesn't work every time. Definitely suboptimal but at least I can get it working somehow.

My services were running already and still had this problem. I have to reinstall Nvidia broadcast every time to get it working again.

I’ve been troubleshooting this issue for two days and finally figured out what’s causing it. The problem is the Windows Firewall, probably due to a bug in the latest Windows update. Here’s what you need to do: 1.Disable the Windows Firewall. 2.Restart your PC. 3.Turn on NVIDIA Broadcast, and that’s it! or roll back win update ! Also, when the next Windows update arrives, don’t forget to turn the Firewall back on. I hope this helps anyone dealing with the same issue! Merry Christmas if you're celebrating! 🎄

I have 15 water leak detectors, and the first one was incredibly difficult to get to work. Found the fix though! Close the app after the last failed attempt and remove the battery. Open the app again, add a new device ("water leak detector"), name it, and put the battery back in. On the screen that asks you to press the reset button for 5 seconds, perform a hard reset: press and hold for 5 seconds, release, and repress for at least 5 seconds, or until you see a pink light go on and off. The unit is reset. Now press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds, click the two checkboxes, and go to the next screen. On Android devices, this will initiate the prompt to connect to the network, etc. If Android does not automatically initiate the prompts, repeat the process. After I learned this, I was able to set up the other 14 painlessly. Good luck!
