Ok after seeing this video about hairstylist I just have to say something. First I have to apologize for the issues that clients are going thru. I am a professional hairstylist in the daly city location in a Sola Suite. And I am embarrassed of what's been happening to people. First off I have to say do your research first before you make appts, ask to speak with stylist and have consultation. That is really important. Because if your hair is that important to you this should be your no. 1 priority. Because then you'll find out what the stylist expects from you and what you want for your self. I shampoo blowdry with all my clients there is no excuse. With all services there is no extra charge for washing. My specialty is natural hair and silk press. And don't charge much I'm an old school type of hairstylist. The wash is the most important part of hair growth it's really important, and actually I really enjoy that part where you fall into a trans. And every client can't have the same shampoo and conditioner depends on the texture and what your scalp needs. Starting price is $80 for silkpress nothing extra except your time no upfront payments I trust that you honor my work and would happily pay for your service. Tiffany's house of beauty is the most fun and exciting place to have the best experience. And just a word of advise you shouldn't be going to a stylist that doesn't have a license. 9 times out 10 is the reason why your coming washed and blowdried is because there not licensed or there lazy , or don't have alot of time. And I do agree stylist should charge based on there price list and charge extra for different situation and like I said a consultation would be best before scheduling. Let the stylist know what you want. And heads up almost be on time, and have cash or a card have options for your stylist. And communicate with the stylist with whatever is on your mind if they are communicating with you. Don't go to people's homes go to a legitimate establishment that also makes a difference. And before a stylist is almost done with your hair ask if you can take a look so everyone's on the same page. Make good decisions when talking with a professional hairstylist in a beauty salon.
