I also have a Schuyler Canterbury and the new Humble Lamb KJV Refresh (in Storm Gray), and they are beautiful. But my favorite hand size, goto KJV is the Cambridge Concord.

😂it’s sustainable packaging….and yes that is the correct packaging. This is not really like Ganymede. They share the same perfumer and both carry his signature but not that similar. This one comes across as much more “soap” like to me(but good). I personally went with Ganymede but have actually come to prefer B683 to both the others(all three perfumed by Quinton)

@@proverbs279fragrances definitely worth trying but they raised the prices 4-5 times in the last two years. They were $185(and you could easily get 15% off that…I did) but now they all of a sudden think that it’s worth $270, greed flation if you ask me.

I got the srpc65 black pvd with a teal dial . It’s a fantastic watch and looks even better now to me after 4-5 years . Ugly watch according to the majority but I love the hell out of it .

I wish it came with a screw down crown man. I don’t care much about the crystal . Also would you be kind enough to google the pictures of SRPC65 and suggest a nato strap that would make it look better . The strap is flimsy you know that .

Great question. To my nose 👃🏻 there is a difference between "dusty" notes and "powdery" notes, and it's mainly in the form of smelling clean. Powdery notes smell fresh and clean, while dusty notes smell like a dusty bookshelf...almost sneeze inducing. I don't think it's something for others to worry about, it's just an observation on my part. Violet leaf usually smells dusty to me.

Question John. Some say old spice is similar to Creed viking, what are your thoughts on that?

Yes. Creed Viking is basically a niche version of Old Spice. The smell very similar to I imagine the original Old Soice back before they were using a lot of synthetics probably smelled a lot like Creed Viking of today.

You can buy it for ¥20,000 at electric stores in Japan as at March 2024. That is about USD$135. The Citizen nb1050-59a is twice the price but a much better watch and strap, 100% made in Japan. And Citizen generally doesn't have dial alignment issues.

20,000 yen is a steal! It's a great watch. The strap isn't great but it's adequate. Would be fire on a leather band w/deployment clasp!

@@proverbs279fragrances yes Sir. I bought the sillage, and the milestone for the creed SMW and the millesime imperial. So far all Armaf creed clones are very good as a stand alone because i have never own the real deal. Only smelled Aventus off of a buddy and so i went down the rabbit hole searching for the best dupe. But yeah I recommend the sillage for a good SMW experience.
