This was the home course for my HS team back in the early 90s. It looks a little different on KZbin than how I remembered it. Looks like they cut back or removed some trees? Your video brought back some memories. Is it no longer called Almansor GC? Thanks for posting this.

Thanks! I played this course a few years back and remember it being called Almansor GC as well. If they've cut back on the trees I haven't noticed it-there are still enough of them to get in trouble if you miss the fairway. :)

Great Vlog man, really enjoyed it. Loved the dad facts man. If you dont mind, what shot tracer are you using after filming with your iphone? Same situation, I cant seem to find a good horizontal shot tracer for full size vids.

Thanks for the kind words! I use Adobe After Effects on my desktop to draw the tracers manually and then animate them over the footage. (To get the actual look of the tracers, I use a plugin called 3D-stroke which gives you plenty of control over color gradients, varying thickness of the lines, etc.) It's a bit labor-intensive but does a much better job than the automated apps-once you get the hang of making a couple it gets faster and easier. Hope that helps!

Thanks! I learned this piece about 2 years ago and recently spent about 2 weeks de-rusting it and to bringing it back up to speed. The hardest thing about practicing this piece is that the left arm gets extremely sore after one or two play-throughs. :)
