What a beautiful marriage of two films. This is great trailer editing and deserving of more views. We just watched Buckaroo Banzai for the first time and gave the film its due review. Discovered this along the way and it's amazing. Bravo!

this is a brilliant edit. What needs to make these edits work is the movie and some of examples I saw are poor matches. Really serious or epic movies with grand/other worldly tones do not work (megalopolis, dune, Chris Nolan movies, etc). Needs a dark comedy or sardonic tone and Sexy Beast sort of has it. Good match to Yorgos Lanthimos in some way.

Thank you, you're very generous. The real aim when replicating this trailer style would be to pick a three-episodes anthology film, hence the repetition of the title. I couldn't think of any such film, so I opted, as you said, for an unusual dark and witty film such as Sexy Beast. Glad you appreciated it :)

Thanks! I tried to tone down the color to match the Dark Knight films palette, and of course the text inspired by the TDKR trailers.

Great editing. Sound was also great. My opinion though is the song choice was off. Didn't feel like it belonged. I kept getting Lone Survivor vibes. All in all. Great video.

Most people when editing a trailer for a movie like this would probably stick more to an action movie trailer feeling flow, but I'm glad you centered the modern trailer around the conversation because it is the most compelling and informational part of the movie

A lot of talent here wasted. I had high hopes for this film when I saw it in the Theater. This movie sucked. All it is , is , disgusting people doing disgusting things. So disappointing

I read this film as a very violent and cynical take on the american dream and politics. I think it's supposed to disgust and discomfort the viewer, as the film wants to talk about the depression and delusions of America and its citizens. I'd give it a second chance if I were you, I did and it really grew on me :)
