I was brought up in the Christian faith. The United Methodist Church. All our neighbors were Roman Catholic Christians. They would yell to my four sisters and me,” you’re going to hell.” In the 1950s the Catholic Church was quite comfortable with a them vs us Christian faith. The past couple of decades the Methodist community seems to be comfortable splintering within “them vs us” regarding LGBTQ members. And now the Evangelical Christians splintering over Donald Trump being the second coming of Christ. My dissolution with human’s interpretation of Christianity has pushed me further from organized religion . Listening to Father Boyle is helping me to find a moral compass of the loving inclusive Jesus. My thoughts and people interactions are less painful, more hopeful. I’m becoming grateful for Father Boyle’s words as a lifeline to my soul. My life as an educator was grounded in service and love offering a widened understanding of opportunities for learners. I’m now realizing that rather than me changing the learners, the learners changed me. Thank you, Father Boyle.

I seriously wish the 8 of them were called The Martyrs of UCA. The community cook and her daughter were not Jesuits (Society of Jesus)....but were definitely companions of Jesus.

I so appreciate the resources of wisdom and experience of Richard Rolheiser and Hildegard. The imagery of the burning bush really touched me. Our passion can be consuming and not effective. MLK's quote can be repeated and repeated, I will not grow weary hearing it.Thanks so much!

So inspiring for me, as an elder in the peace and justice movement, to view this video from one of our young leaders! please add the link you referred to so that everyone can access Walter Wink's powerful work on how turning the other cheek is actually a way to practice active nonviolence

St Augustine and his mother, were Berber not African Americans in modern suits.🙄 St Benedict was Italian. Stop it with the lies, we are Catholic we must not lie.

May God continue to bless you, Maka ... and all your works for a better future of the beloved Lakota people. God bless you all. (PS. I am an Indonesian, but I have been to Red Cloud Indian School and I enjoyed your presentation at Marquette University in June 2022. Thank you). /baskara
