Hello! Thank you for showcasing this artbook! I always look forward to each new [ILLUSTRATION] artbook. This year's edition features much art that's a little too dark for my personal taste, however I am a huge fan of the cover artist, Yashiro Nanaco, so I might purchase anyway XD The limited edition cover is also lovely. I think this is my first time leaving a comment, so I want to express my appreciation for the time and effort you invest into showing your collection. I try to watch as many of your videos as I can, and always look forward to what you'll show next :)

In my opinion, yes ! It is a HUGE book, beautiful prints, well worth the price. Best way to enjoy Giger's art.

I like how he blends the characters and the background together some of the background look like a photograph of a real place and when he draws the characters in they don’t look out of place

Thank you for showing this. This really helped my decision for this book. just my opinion, it's much better than the Alien book. Aliens has a good amount/ratio of photos, texts, etc.

Thank you for showing this. It really helps my decision. I'm more of a photo person than text person, and this book doesn't have much bts photos. It's very much more storyboards, photo/production stills, and advertising material. I think the Making of Aliens book has a good ratio of photos, texts, etc.

Cardboard box only. But it is enough to protect the book, believe me. And I recommend to store it layed down, because those XL or XXL Taschen books are very, very heavy.

@@rafaelgonzalez8971 I have a couple if their XL books and I'm rather surprised they didn't include a slip box this time. The cardboard box seems like it can protect but I feel you can't display the book as much that way.

@@Ivan-om8rkusually Taschen XXL books are packed with cardboard cases due to the size. Only collector's and limited editions of that format come with something more substancial like solander boxes or slipcases. But the smaller regular versions sometimes are packed with slipcases. It is not a 100% percent sure rule, but it is the most common thing to happen. Maybe your books are the XL or the a litle bit smaler regular ones, not the XXL like the Giger one that our friend kindly unboxed for us in this video. (Regardless the packing, all artbooks by Taschen are amazing).

Good point, I will only allow a few eyes to see this one, the smaller version will be on display for others. This looks incredible. Better than the Necronomicon books by far. Thank you to Tashen & The Giger Estate. Wow!!!
