It is interesting that the word heavy is put in place of obese. Just like "thic". You know that you are obese when you have to buy a special mattress. Why not eat right and exercise?? Simple.

Great Videos! Wish I had found you guys when I bought my king mattress. I researched mattresses mainly with Costco because of their return policy. We purchased the Cloud Hybrid but I am sinking through the night like 5-6” into the mattress. Our foundation is our former box springs with minimal give. I’m a combo sleeper and more uncomfortable than with my old mattress. I was hoping I had the wrong foundation for our mattress. Thoughts?

Not one soft mattress? Shame.

My parents sleep on Tempurpedic adjustable beds, and the adjustability seemed cool, but I'm not a huge fan of all-foam mattresses. I don't like the feeling of sleeping "in" the mattress, so much as "on" the mattress. We were looking at the Dreamcloud, but found a place locally that carried several "online" brands, and we checked a few of them out. We'd never even heard of the Puffy brand, but the sales guy told us to take a look at them based on the stuff we liked and didn't like of the brands we were shopping. Compared to the Dreamcloud and the Nectar, we greatly preferred the edge support of the Puffy. It feels much less like you'll roll off the edge. Another selling feature is that the Puffy mattresses were in their front window in direct sunlight, but were still cool to the touch. We bought a split king Puffy Lux with adjustable bases (not the Puffy brand, because we don't care about massage or "zero gravity" or LED lights) and paid much less than the listed retail price, with the free sheets and pillows. Around $3.3k out the door, compared to around $11k for a comparable Tempurpedic or Sleep Number. After the first night, we both had a really hard time adjusting from our traditional king mattress, and we thought we had made a terrible mistake. But we knew we couldn't exchange it after one night, and decided to just suck it up and spend a couple of weeks on it before we went back and exchanged it for something else. Turns out, after about a week on it, we both really liked it. Some of that, I assume, is that it took several days for it to reconstitute fully, especially the edges. The other is that the bamboo sheets were different from the percale sheets we'd become used to. After a brief adjustment period, we will be keeping it, and are happy. Some notes: We are both side sleepers, and haven't found any alarming pressure points. I am a very hot sleeper, but haven't found that to be an issue at all with this mattress. The seam of the split-king is greatly exaggerated as far as comfort, and pales in comparison to the ridge of a traditional king. Ultimately we quite like the sheets, but what Puffy charges for an extra set of them, I think we'll look elsewhere for a 2nd set.

Would love to see reviews of the Ego Home mattresses. On the hunt for affordable, but decent for side sleeping! You guys are awesome!

Hybrid designs with coils don't do anything but save manufacturer's money. Buy all latex.

I kind of wonder that the color had to be made "purple" because Intellibed already had a similar grid-matrix hyper-elastic-polymer bed and it was/is blue. Both Intellibed and Purple are Utah based, and I speculate that the Purple people came out from the Intellibed company. Purple bought Intellibed in 2022.

How heavy are you? I had the luxeadapt medium and it was too firm to sleep on my side.

I got the hybrid say medium firm the thing is way too firm my back hips and neck hurt like hell from this bed. Maybe medium would have been better!

I would like to see you all opinion if that’s a good option but I definitely check out sweet one I’m heavy side sleeper but my finances isn’t the best right now to buy from some the other brands that you all recommend for heavy sleepers. Beds are HEAVY lol. I have a Purple King size mattress for 9 years now going on 10 in like March of 2025z It’s the Purple(2) or now days it’s a Hybrid… back when purple was just came out in 2015

Need a video just for adjustable bases. Purple bases are over $2000 and amazon has them for under $600.

I want the first experimental purple bed that was just a big slab of the gel grid for $1000.

The only difference between them I could find on purple site was the coils having foam on the top of them in the higher end version.
