Steve's guitar sound is epic here too. I saw them do this twice in 2022 Aylesbury and Leicester and this year once at the Royal Albert Hall. Someone else posted it. The 2022 Leicester one was probably the best of the three. I posted that one. De Montfort Hall. Craig's cymbal work really reminded me of Phil on that one.

These drums have literally the greatest suspension mount ever made for drums. Doesn't hold the tom off it's center of gravity, doesn't put stress on the tension rods, isn't so bulky that it makes spacing toms difficult, and it's pretty stylish too. I'm surprised Mapex isn't marketing it more.

Don't count. Feel. Verbally voice the beat. If you can say it, you can internalise it. Then you can play it! That's how I learnt it at tabla class.

If you're taking about the main riff (e.g. 0:00 to 1:23), it's in 11/8. If counting is a struggle, try thinking of it as a bar of 4/4 and a bar of 3/8 cycling round. I play a lot of progressive music and when I'm learning odd time signatures, I will often break the bars down into smaller, more digestible chunks. This is definitely an example of where I'd recommend trying that.

I have 2 Mapex kits and the build quality, finish and sound are really good. I have not heard of any problems with the bearing edge.
