I have one I bough about ten years ago. It has three brand new canisters and brand new gasket. $500 won't get it from me. It was used very little. I got lucky when I bought it for $100.

Looks like a great unit, it seems better built than a similar looking unit I had , had it on the dash of my vehicle and it warmed still works but the circuitry is exposed. You did a great review and that's definitely a better unit than mine. Hope you have an awesome weekend

That was an amazing price, and thank you so much! I'm glad you decided to let it go lol, I've been wanting one of these for a while now. Keep the great videos and deals coming!

I slept under that canvas. It’s what we had, no rip stop nylon invented yet. I don’t miss humping that heavy s#;t. The nostalgia… not precious memories, maybe a few. Oh, well, work’s work, old memories are water under a bridge. Thanks for bringing back old memories…from an old grunt, vet, retired, tired, on the Little River, in the hills of east Tennessee.

Great to see you back in the woods. Don't let that guy get you down. Normal people care about how you are doing. Nothing beats the smell of that army canvas baking in the sun. I lived in a canvas tent for awhile on a ROK base in Korea. I stayed in a shelter half tent a few times as a kid. I like them. Take care brother.

can’t tell you how much I appreciate your making this video; for several reasons. The least of which is, like you, I have wonderful memories of sleeping in a green canvas tent as a child (backyard “camp outs”) and I have just recently begun looking for a US Army pup tent. That’s likely why your video popped up in my feed. But I’m also a near 60 year old lady who isn’t as young, fit or agile as she used to be. Which leads me to the second reason I appreciate your video…. You’re honest. And you didn’t try to spit shine a disappointing experience. And that my friend is mor valuable, more helpful, more educational and more”real life” practical than one of those videos that edits out reality to create a perfect story. So thank you for your integrity. I have just subscribed. Best yo you from central Indiana.

Last time I spent the night in mine it took two days for all my aches and pains to go away… I didn’t have a sleep pad. It is fun to set up as a “day-camp” shelter for hanging out and cooking though. Front seat in recline mode ain’t a bad bed sometimes 🤣

Great video. Just a thought. Perhaps put the tent up somewhere you can leave it outside and begin using it for short stays and see if eventually your breathing improves to the point of another over nighter. But, remember you have nothing to prove here. Good Health is EVERYTHING. It is a very cool tent. But maybe a wall tent of sorts will give you what you need. It would be my choice after Buckeye Bushcraft did his wall tent series. Have a good evening and weekend. Looking forward to your next video. 👍

I took a 1/2" diameter straw and cut into roughly 2" lengths. I sealed one end of the 2" straw with a lighter and crimped the end. Then injected vaseline followed up with a cotton ball. Sealed the remaining end. No mess, waterproof, fits into a kit, pocket or wherever. I do like this as well. Thanks for sharing.
