For brown, my fave is bernat blanket in i believe the color is taupe. I've only ever found it on amazon, its more of a medium brown then what i imagine taupe to be but I actually need the medium brown more so it worked out. It might also be available on the yarnspiration website along with other colors but i personally found it on amazon so i just stick with that! <3

I love the mama made mini book! I’ve made the toad, hippo, and panda previously. I’m currently making a ceecee chick for a friend who just had a baby and am hoping to make a pink rye rabbit in time to donate. I think the blue elephant would be really fun! But any of them would be super cute. Finding a good brown has been such a challenge. Particularly a medium tone brown, I like bernat blanket sand for a light brown/tan. I also cry very easily so I totally get it! <3 Those novelty yarns are so cool! There is a yarn spinner that makes amazing blends of novelty yarn called Pixie Spins Yarn. I ordered a mystery box from her and have only used one of the yarns so far, but made the wings of an amigurumi moth with it. I definitely think it's tough to find brown yarn for plushies, I order my chenille yarn from Premier and their brown colors are very often sold out. I think they're just so popular for teddy bears and things like that. I lucked out a few months ago when I placed an order that they were all in stock. My votes for the loveys are the toad, the bunny (in gray), the elephant (in blue), and the chick! That cardi is turning out beautifully!! The yarn is so pretty and looks so nice and squishy, but yeah definitely not a fun one to frog! A chatty vlog gets a chatty comment in return 😅 Have a great Thanksgiving Dana!

I still have some of these style yarns from the early 2000's. I would knit fashion scarves with them. Who ever made "fun fur" which was not fur made these also. They are a pain to crochet with though 😂. If you make rainbow fish I would suggest using with a 4 weight color and the novelty yarn. Brown yarn is a pain to find, they are all too dark or too reddish uhg! For Loveys, toad, hippo, duck, unicorn (the maine is quick!).
