I have the production bundle, there is so much less to carry., and in a smaller pack, and lighter. No buckets, no classifiers, just a short handle shovel., great for guys like me with back pain issues. BTW once you master this, it is so much faster.

Looks great but I would like to see what gold was lost in the process...can you do a video where you re pan all leftover stuff that left the pan showing us if anything was lost? I have your guys smaller blue gold claw pan and still use it some.

For awhile (bcz i have a trembling disorder) I'd had a personal issue with the slight wobbling motion I was making with the shaking motion and later noticed Klint in his videos was doing the same thing, so it's a good thing to re-watch his stuff time and again while paying attention to them; because you might learn something else about these Claw Pans that Klint doesn't address outrightly. 💙💛💙

So now it's not a problem at all. But after buying a Wetsuit I can now comfortably sit cross-legged waist-deep in the water where I have even *more control* over that small dilemma than with standing or kneeling! 💙💛💙

And with that, I've noticed how much easier it is to operate the *Production Pan* while its completely submerged under the water line: it would be harder by comparison to try waving your arm under it rather than giving it your "wrist action."

Ya, there is a lot I leave out to keep it simple in the video but it doesn't have to be perfect to pan fast and get the gold with the gold claw.

I counted it, Klint; it was a total of 17--18 seconds of actual work time minus the pause to refill it. Doin' good m'man! 😄

I was at the Pomona Gold show last summer and bought a production pan for me and one for my friend. The owner threw in a pocket pan. I take that everywhere. When I flew to Colorado, I brought the pocket pan with me and stopped by a creek and found some gold. Production pan is also great for dry test panning in the desert or moving a lot of dirt in an area that you can't hike in tons of equipment. Best to watch some of these videos and practice at home with some pay dirt to get the hang of the pans.

Just another 'fad' goldpan, like the other 30 or so on the market. Thjere's not enough floor area in this thing to work the material...You only need two pans; the green GPAA pan, and the blue Falcon finishing pan.

When you are using the classifier side of the pan, do you ever need to stop and tilt the pan backwards to move the fines from the large riffles back to the center of the pan, similar to what you need to do with a typical round pan?
@goldclaw3659
@goldclaw3659 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, in the How To videos I refer to this a a reset (see all three). In river gravels you usually do not need to but if there is a lot of black sand or if you are processing concentrates then yes, you may want to reset the material several times as you go.

I bought the bundle set, and it powers thru dirt in seconds compared to traditional pans (IF USED CORRECTLY) as Clint demos here. Btw gold sticks to the Claw like glue, I tried loosing some test gold on purpose but couldn't. No classifier no buckets, just the Gold Claw and a small shovel, for me these days. Round pans seem slow and antiquated to me, imo...

I got mine today and tested it out on a bucket of black sand which I had previously ran through a clean out sluice. And I was able to find some small gold that had gotten missed. I have been using a garrett super sluice, but will start using this for sampling.

I am surprised that there are so few comments on this video I got the gold claw gold pan and the production pan last year I live in Maine. I own a turbo pan and I also own Garrett pan with classifiers. He wants is the most efficient pain and has the most control over the Black Sands of any pan I have ever used. It is as easy as you demonstrate and the production pan moves a lot of dirt really fast it is very heavy when you have that pan out of the water but as you said when you put it in the water it becomes very light it is a joy to work with I find myself enjoying just using the pan and not even caring if I get gold or not and then I can't wait to do the next pan. Yours truly James Bailey

😅 Now do it seriously. You lost any gold you had damn near. I like dumping a shovel on a sluice myself. The less im bent over in the water the better. I fine tune at home with the Martin. Maybe I'm just not grabbing the concept.

I've personally found out for myself that wearing a Wetsuit with my butt in the water and sitting comfortably as I always do cross-legged like a Native American, I can shake the Claw Pan much easier than with crouching over a stream or river-edge. So now that eliminates for me any thought of going back to the Sluice Boxes.
