How do you become Cadet Battalion Commander?
@2yng2die
@2yng2die Ай бұрын
I'm not a BC, I am a CSM but to my knowledge it's doing things right, knowing what you are doing, show leadership skills and try your best to work your way up the ladder. From many cadets I've heard working up the ladder helps you understand jobs more and shows your leadership.

Again, I'm not sure but this is what I'd recommend start doing but it depends on what SAI's say.

good evening i just watched the video and i wanted to point out two things the first is instead of making the particular knot you can make a figure eight and the second the carabiners are placed with the gate facing up i.e. towards us This is the right way

His is "knot" wrong though. You can set up a tower in many ways.

I become the Battalion commander of my JROTC program in two days officially. I've done rifle, raider, colorguard, honorguard, robotics, and all kinds of volunteer work and more. I'm so excited but so nervous at the same time. I really want to be the BC that people can look up to and admire. Would you happen to have any tips and tricks to it?

My and two of my friends are headed to JROTC for our freshman year, and have our whole 4 years of highschool including jrotc. Can you maybe tell us what we should expect on the first day. Google is pretty vague Sir.

Each program operates a bit differently, depending on the Army Instructors. At Red Bank HS, our first-year cadets can expect to learn a great deal about the basics of citizenship, personal responsibility, and expectations of them as an Army JROTC cadet - that will include setting the example for excellence throughout the school and community.

Well in rotc 1 you just learn about leadership but if u keep doing the right thing and do some rotc after school activity you get promoted faster.

Expect yourself to have responsibilities with taking care of the uniform and making sure you are looking presentable by all mean cutting your hair and other regulations the more you are active and show you care about the program you can get ranked up currently I’m in my 3rd year and I’m a cadet captain I’m an officer and have a certain position to hold I run people in the core which feels nice knowing you have the right to tell lower and upper class men what to expect but as long as you can be respected and respect back
