I have been following this game for so long, and had a quick play but I am really not sure about it, after an initial try....the physics feel better then many indie fighting games but has this weird thing happens like a frame skip when jumping and the gameplay just feels a bit barebones not a huge amount of modes no combo training or mission modes and mechanically pretty bare which might appeal to some. I like pixel art and the characters look not to bad though the animation is very hit and miss with some moves looking...odd almost unfinished is the best way i can describe it and backgrounds can be a bit over pixelated. I think for 34 euro could be a hard sell for a lot of people . There are 14 characters and i think for the right price it could be worth a look.....thing is considering how long the game has been in development i really really doubt any major changes would come.

4 years later and no improvement yet

Yeah i am not to sure about this game, the original was released nearly 9 years ago and i was a Indiegogo backer and there were no updates to say there was a new release, i found about it on Facebook and from what i can tell this is an update with much of the same content but 3 new characters and some quality of life improvements ...and back then I would have said yes but fighting games even in the indie scene have come a long way plus they had promised to put roll back in the previous game but never did and it does not seem to be in this game. If you have never tried the game might be worth a shot but even when you boot the new game up its really showing its age and it just reminded me of playing doujin games in the 2000s. after 9 years though i was hoping for much more.

There are some unique fatal ko animations depending on who the opponent is. Heres what I found: -Against some opponents, Thouzer will think about his master instead of donning his mask and sword. -Yuda collapses and dies in Rei's arms if Rei fatal KO's him -Rei will strip Mamiya's clothes off rather than killing her/knocking her over It also sounds like the dialogue changes based on the opponent, but I dont speak Japanese.
