I actually had the opposite reaction. This is my fav one of theirs. But I have no technical knowledge of playing music. So maybe this is the agreeable crowd pleasing that is accessible. I still find all their songs above average. I put on a Spotify play list of the cost so it played similar artists, atleast according to the Spotify algorithm. And you can very easily yell a difference from a technical standpoint. I also felt like the vocalist shows range in his ability to sound the same but also different. I don't think this is the same tone as his others. This is more mellow, slower. Whereas the others are bitter or angry, faster paced. He can sound low in pitch. High in pitch.
