My family and friends have been giving Mike McCommons our money for 6 years. We usually go twice a year and on Memorial Day weekend we usually gather up around 12 to as many as 20 people to come out and camp. This year (5/24/15) we saw the real side of Mike McCommons. Our 8 year old daughter was hit by a RZR on Monster Mountain. She was stopped at the top of the mountain facing the wrong way. I had to stop traffic on the mountain because my 12yr old's atv stalled and I was getting it off the track. While I was not looking a loud crash drew my immediate attention and all I saw was a little girl rolling down the hill while her atv rolled on top of her. Through the dust there was the RZR at the top of the hill. I did not see what happened but my only priority was to get my girl to the EMT station. I took her helmet off and blood was coming from her mouth and nose. She was crying and telling me that she did not want to die. Any parent would be crushed at this point. I put her on my ATV and drove her to the entrance of the track where I found a track worker. She called for help and got us the attention we needed. EVERYONE was great!! The paramedic checked her out and left the decision to us whether we take her to get checked out. We declined and decided that we would take her back to the room and monitor her progress from there. Two hours after the incident a man came up in a golf cart and said "you aren't drinking and riding are you!" to some of my friends. They didn't have atv's or wrist bands they were just there to camp. Then he said "who's the father of the girl that got hit". I reached my hand out to shake his and that's when Mike McCommons started to accuse me and my family of lying about what took place on his track. I had no idea that my daughter may have been going the wrong way. I just knew that she was hit by an RZR. That's all I knew and that's all I stated. Mike insisted that I told one of his young workers that it was the RZR's fault. At no time did fault come out of my mouth all I wanted was for my little girl to be okay. Mike then proceeded to tell us that it was people like us that gave his plantation a bad name. Now you should remember that I have been going to his establishment for many years and he had seen me before and we even had casual conversations about riding and safety. Mike got pissed off when my 12 yr old son told him that my daughter was not going the wrong way when he saw her. Mike then got in his golf cart and almost hit one of my friend's minivans. I told him to be careful and he got back out of his golf cart and told us all to leave. He said "you will not be getting any money back and you better be out in 30 mins". I told him there was not way we could get everything packed up in 30 mins. and he said okay you have 36 mins. Needless to say we all packed up and left. All I can do to the guy is put my story out there for other people to see and maybe more people will come forward with similar stories. I am willing to bet that other people that have had accidents on his property are met with hostility and not compassion.

Track is always sick! Great for any level rider and the sat MX is wicked fun. Come ride!!!!!!! But purchase a membership! I rode there for 2 yrs at least 6 times per month and didnt even know about the membership. Buy it! saves alot of $

@is0mniac u have to find the fast riders. all the fast riders are in las cruces and there are a few in abq such as 351. the fast riders don't go to sandia now that it is changed. wackerbarth is the fastest man in the state but he doesnt choose to race. he lives in abq but simply has no one to race against. they are there

I think you should try to get this video out better. I have rode with Andrew at big cedar in Alabame when he was still racing GNCC and I have no doubts about his riding abilities and capabilities of teaching younger kids. I have been thinking about the MTF school but its expensive as hell. Im not sure how much this is but you should definately get this out there. Thanks Andrew for the Jerseys and pants. Still got em! Hope to see u out there one day.
