I learned that this plant can be used for any pox/ shingles but I'm not sure if people put it on their skin or drink it in tea.

Bought a tincture of it on Etsy to have on hand and I just tried it topically yesterday for shingles outbreak. im pleased that it seems to be doing the job well! It can be taken orally too but I only tried topically.

Small correction, they don’t have water in the tubes. The only sarracenia that have water in their pitchers are purpurea and rosea

College grad student here! Having to read the entire original paper a couple hours before my quiz (don't do that!) and this video helped me out a lot. Thank you so much.

Do I have to fill this with water or does it already contain a liquid
@sasquatchdonut26747 ай бұрын
DO NOT fill this one with water. The only ones you fill with water are purpurea and rosea

Try potting pitcher plants in high-quality soil. They will die. They require wet, low-nutrient conditions. It’s not that they just out-compete other plants in those conditions.
