Where is the BMS..?? It is for battery protection..
@VANquishedAdventures9 күн бұрын
It will rely on whatever bms(if any) is built into the light. 2nd battery adds capacity but still just 3-4 volts so it really isn't needed like in a big bank of batteries.
@VANquishedAdventures8 күн бұрын
Understand what the BMS does. It controls the high and low voltage which remains the same in our project so we changed nothing but capacity so it is just as safe as before. The 2 batteries will also balance themselves in this configuration. It is safe

Good idea to double up the batteries. Is it noticeably brighter now?
@VANquishedAdventures18 күн бұрын
Not any brighter because wattage still the same just more milliamp hours so it stays on longer. Most notable on days with not enough sun, the light will last longer before dying.

It is dangerous without BMS (Battery Management System). It may explode..
@VANquishedAdventures8 күн бұрын
@Normandy2015 it is wired in parallel. It has same voltage with 1 or 2 batteries. Controls(BMS) in the light for the 1st battery will control voltage of 2. The BMS controls voltage of the battery which has not changed by adding the 2nd battery. If we wired in series then we would absolutely need a new BMS to match the new higher voltage. This application is safe. Same with my other video on battery banks. The voltage is what is monitored (controlled) so 1 battery or 8.....same voltage same battery management. No new BMS needed.

Not enough power for that. I would suggest seeing what angle aluminium you can source and either use nuts and bolts or rivets. Angle iron geta heavy pretty quick.

I can pick up a Galaxy S21 for about $150 here and pack it in a box of socks or something, and send it to you, and maybe sneak it past customs that way. 🙂That's the trouble with "flagship" phones these days -- they all cost $1,000 for the latest, greatest version, and then six months later, they're obsolete. Which can be good if you're a cheapskate (like me!) and don't have to pay international shipping/customs, I think that's probably four times the cost of the phone itself. We've got a couple of Samsung Galaxy A10e phones that (I think) were some "international" model (read: cheap, no USA warranty), that I picked up for $99 each (including shipping) almost four years ago, that are still working great, so Samsung's quality can be hit-and-miss.
@VANquishedAdventuresАй бұрын
Super disappointed with Samsung. I tried Amazon Renewed but they won't ship here unless buying new phone:( Regarding trying to sneak they would likely just make it disappear. They aren't the most honest folks. I have another phone coming but costs $200 extra to bring it on this country. That explains why the locals have cheap phones.
