I’m so excited about starting uni in September next year. Long way in advance maybe, but I’ve just submitted my UCAS application and Salford is first on my list. Who knows, I might get lucky. Roll on May by which time I should know about all of my choices.

This video has helped me feel less alone! I'm in my first year of college and it is scary. I feel like I have to prove my worth to everyone. But hearing you say that even though you know deep down that you're a fun person, yet you still feel the need to prove it made me feel less like I'm the only one! I'm really excited to watch your continued journey!

Do I actually have to go through an agency? I saw that you can just pick different camps and apply directly through their websites. Also I don’t really know why I would spend 500€ on a program when I can get a visa and insurance by myself or am I wrong here?
@MillieElizabeth7 ай бұрын
You have to have someone to sponsor your visa and most camps will not do that even if you’re hired directly with them. Therefore you’d have to go through an agency anyways because you can’t get the visa required to work without a sponsor! It’s annoying but sometimes if you’re directly placed with a camp the agency fee is lower I believe.

Hi Millie, i come to a camp for summer contract on j1, quick question! Can the same camp extend my visa for fall season as this is a year round camp or maybe to a permanent position at the camp? Is that possible to do with the same camp who sponsor you for j1
