As someone who runs these little pushboats, this is possibly the worst idea I've heard in a while. Where the hell are you going to charge it? Off a diesel genset? Kinda defeats the point doesn't it?

Could simply start by using the engines waste heat for the HVAC instead of just dumping it into the ocean and heating with a separate boiler.
