It used to be that you'd need all S cards at 5 stars for the 2.5mil score, but with the recent changes with bonus scores for having live themes, I've cleared the score for most events without a full set & end up instead never getting all the cards for the event. lol I think it depends on how many S cards you're working with, how well you play the song & how many live themes you have (if 0, you might need the full set of S at 5 stars). But without seeing your cards or current high score I am of limited help lol you won't know unless you try with what you have - if you're VERY close, 1 more S could make the difference! but if you're still like 500k away, idk if that gap can be bridged by one card. Hi! So, I'm still working on some videos for things like How To Clear Songs On Hard, The Easiest Songs To 3 Star, Earning Diamonds, etc. But I haven't had time to do all of the recording/editing yet so I'm running behind on posting em... BUT, I still wanted to try to give you some (hopefully) helpful advice! So I replayed the song a couple times & paid attention to see if there was anything I could give you more specific for this one: 1. This is obvious, but VERY helpful so I must mention it: know the song by heart. If you aren't there yet, playing it enough times will get you there so don't worry! If you ARE there, you are closer to clearing it than you realize bc knowing when the beat or singing is happening is important! 2. Peripheral vision really comes in handy on hard mode. I try to focus on the area right above the bottom bar where the taps happen, that way I'm looking close enough to see where my fingers should go, but I am constantly keeping a watch on what's about to fall down from the top - that's how you know where your fingers should be headed ☺ Don't focus too intently on any one area & don't panic if you miss a note, just keep on going the best you can. 3. The biggest thing that helped me start clearing songs on hard is noticing that there's really only two times the game will want you to tap: either the note goes along with the melody line, or the note goes with whatever the backing beat is doing. This song is a wonderful example of that. It does it right from the beginning, but it doesn't stick out as much because the beat notes coincide with the melody in a few parts... but pay special attention starting at 0:43 into the video (when the chorus starts), because it becomes super obvious how the blue taps are the backing beat & the yellow hold-&-drag notes pair with the singing. If you ONLY watch the blue notes in the playback, you'll see what I mean. So TL;DR: Know the song, know WHEN the game wants you to tap (ALWAYS to the melody, & very frequently to beats or notable background sounds), and pair it with the feedback from your peripheral vision to know WHERE to tap. If you still have trouble following the notes logically... the sloppy & frantic ABT (Always Be Tapping) method helped me clear my very first event song the first week I started playing. lol I barely cleared it (1 star), but it CAN work if you try enough times! 😂 Thank you for your comment, I hope this helped at least a little 😄 Good luck on getting your wallpaper! @@Trinswrlds As far as I know, the LOUD cards were only available during the LOUD survival show (back in 2021 I think). They are Event Limited cards, & unfortunately I have never seen them available since the event/show ended (I'm still missing a few myself). This also means that if you had any single cards, there was no way to even upgrade them until the recent Multi Up cards came along. lol such a pain! I am always hoping they will re-release these cards for completion's sake, but it's been 3 years & I'm not holding my breath 😂 Probably not the answer you wanted, but hopefully this info helps! always index for me! i am working on a future video that will detail some of the info that has helped me improve. i don't have any specific tips for just this song, but the biggest overall tips i can give are: 1.) anticipate the notes by focusing less on the bottom area where you tap, & more near the top or middle of the screen - i hope this isn't confusing, it's so you kinda know what's coming slightly ahead of time? i'll def explain this in more detail in the video i end up making & 2.) the more familiar you are with the song, the more it will help, as every single note follows either the melody line or something in the backing beat/music. i hope this helps you, thank you for the comment & good luck! ☺
