When the killer walks everywhere but also conveniently teleports everywhere, there really is no tension at all. It's just plain dumb.

Ela murders a blind kid instead of just giving him the cure, and then gets shocked when the kids sister attacks him.

I will never understand the logic that a gun can't kill the creature but a knife or a stick can. It's a plot device to create tension, but at least try to make it more believable.

Freya is the last person to moralize about Odin. She's done just as many selfish things, she cursed her son, driving him to madness, killed an innocent creature for convenience, left her turtle to die, sent innocents to die killing Kratos, killed people, who are trying to survive, for the crime of eating wolves. Her hypocrisy, blaming EVERYONE else, and her holier than though attitude, I don't think I've hated a character more then her. Also that whole thing about the Midgardians just being human shields was such bullshit, they pulled that out of their asses, THEY attacked Asgard, kingdoms usually have towns and villages outside the castle walls, they keep doing bad things and then blaming others, I'm sure when the innocent Mongols attacked Chinese villages and slaughtered them all it was because the evil Chinese were using them as human shields too.

Odin used her. But Freya murdered her while she was retreating, all so she didn't have to travel as a bird. I'm so sick of Freya always blaming everyone else. This is no different from Kratos blaming Ares for his family's death, Ares just placed them in the temple, but Kratos went in there and slaughtered everyone.

Freya killed Nighogg so she could travel to a different realm, something she could already do in bird form, she also killed Nidhogg when Nidhogg was retreating, she could have let Nidhogg leave, and even if she needed Nidhogg's death to travel to other realms, it doesn't change the fact she murdered an innocent to do that, AND put the realms at risk with Nidhogg's children. But still Kratos and her blame Odin for it, just like Kratos blames everyone else for him murdering his family, Ares didn't disguise Kratos' family as monsters, he just placed them in a temple, it was Kratos who went in there and killed everyone. If someone goes into a house and kills everyone in there, but then finds out two of the people he killed were people he cared about, would you feel sorry for him? Same goes for Nidhogg, Odin may have used the roots which Nidhogg guarded, but Freya could still have chosen not to kill Nidhogg when it was crawling away wounded, once again remember she did this only so she could travel the realms out of bird form.

I love how in Greece a land that had war but was mostly known for it's culture, enlightenment and civilization, the god of war is a monster warmonger. But in Midgard, which is vikings, a land known for raiding, slavery, wars, conquering and only getting to valheim through dying in battle, which means starting battles, the god of war is a peace loving hippie. Also I'm talking about in this game, not actual lore.

That valkyrie story made no sense, was she sleeping through the entire thing? She can see enough to know her brother killed her boyfriend, but not enough to see her entire family dead? How does that make sense, also why wasn't she wondering why the man who wasn't allowed in their home, was in their home? And you're telling me she just cursed her brother without asking him why? The writing is so bad sometimes, it's like the people writing this game don't think things through. Also for a progressive game they just said she did all these bad things because she couldn't control her emotions.

Wait, she wouldn't cast the protection on Odin because it drove Baldur mad?! Then why didn't she remove the curse on Baldur if she knew it was driving him mad, which she could do? This woman is just a walking contradiction, to go with her hypocrisy I guess. Also what's so evil about eating wolves in this game, what do wolves eat? What does Kratos eat? Doesn't Kratos wear fur, where'd he get that from? These people have to die because they eat meat to survive, in a winter they didn't cause? It's not like they're stealing the animals souls or anything, or killing a mother that was retreating just so they can go to another realm, which didn't even require her death, or leaving a giant house turtle to freeze, or cursing their child to immortality and madness, then they'd just be misunderstood. Man I hate Freya, she's actually as bad as Kratos when it comes to not taking personnal responsibility.

Kratos goes into a village, kills everyone of his own choice, all for Ares, feels nothing, goes into a temple after ignoring the warning of Zeus in disguise, slaughters all the men women and children, once again without remorse, finds the woman and child he murdered, of his own choice, turns out to be his wife and child. Also Kratos, I was tricked, and burned Olympus despite it being my fault and Zeus warning me.

Thor kills people, he's evil, even though afterlifes exist. The grandmother steals souls, she's just musunderstood.

I love how they recount the evil deeds of Odin, despite Kratos doing far worse, it's like people forget how many millions died because of him killing the gods.

Him forgetting he's running away and stopping to pick flowers on his way out of skalitz 2 hours in, getting jumpscared and killed losing all his progress had me in tears lol

I just got done playing the game as it currently is and they improved so much.. graphics are better, performance is better and they even got actual voice actors now to do the lines. No more robotic "O no.. it is locked. It will not open..doot doot doot.. error error malfunction malfunction"
