I think parents should leave their other children at home. Its to much for the child your adopting. They just wont leave them alone.

I love these people who adopt but please can they leave their own children either at home or bring a relative who can look after them on the gotcher day! This us so the adopted child can not be so overwhelmed. Mum & Dad can concentrate on their new child. Children mean well and i'm sure they love their new sibling massively but give them time to take it all in first.

Actually, that's a very subjective statement and many child psychologists would disagree: A child who's loved, nourished and interacted with stands a chance of being a happy child, indeed. Even children who have endured trauma, thanks to the extraordinary benefits of neuroplasticity, can be happy and well-adjusted. Btw I'm not placating anyone - these are true statements. Please watch this video again - and others - and see the transformations take place as orphans become loved family members. Adoption is hard, but there is a lot of hope in it. All blessings your way. 🤗
