Hi! Great news: you don't need the spreadsheet anymore. The timesheets can be exported directly from ShiftCare :)

Can you please provide an update on this since 2023 reforms were introduced under www.dewr.gov.au/secure-jobs-better-pay - particularly, the Better Off Over All Test. For example, are employers still required to show the calculations in contracts comparing the Award to the annualised salary arrangements (as stated in the Clerks - Private Sector Award 2020)?

you forgot about obamacare. due to the mandate put in place by his administration, no one gets over 32 hours, because they'd be eligible for insurance. so they have 2 28 hour a week jobs and work 56 hours. but they make 9$ an hour and are broke. thanks obama

Hello. are you able to clarify if it is classed as a return to work as soon as employees who are on call receive a text or call from other employees outside normal working hours.

Excursion Shift Monday to Friday. Main supports delivered 8am until 6pm, then minimal supports after 6pm until sleepover 10pm "sleep - 8 hours" begins. What happens between the hours 6pm and 10pm? Is this paid? is it the staff members responsibly to give a breakdown of supports provided during this time so overtime can be applied?

Hi Gemma, the award doesn’t distinguish between “main support” and “minimum support”. If they are on site providing care then you’d be entitled to hourly pay. An alternative is that you’re on call for that shift but that is normally reserved for being at home and waiting for a call up. A timesheet that continues on from the 8am shift and ends at 10PM would be sufficient evidence. Hope this assists

Question, if I have to perform care during the night and therefore can't sleep is that considered a sleep shift?

If you’re scheduled on a sleepover shift but have to work during that shift, it is considered work during sleepover. You’d be paid the appropriate penalty rate plus the sleepover allowance. If it is just rostered shift work you’d receive shift work penalties only
