even in real life I think the Heli would survive, that hit the landing gear some shrapnel might go through the floor but with how atgm's work I doubt it. if the pilot is alive, and the rotors/engine are fine then it would be able to land. 🤓unless theres missiles on the side

I doubt it even at that angle, most ATGMs have a shaped charge that'll send a jet of molten copper through the aircraft, destorying hydraulic and electric lines, fatally injuring the the crew and potentially ignting fuel or ammunition stored on board. In summary it would be extremely unfavourable to be hit with an anti tank guided missile while flying a very complex flying machine in mountainous terrain.🤓🤓🤓

It's always worth destroying them early in the game because it denies them the chance to make an attack HAB, sort of stranding them at the second point giving us an advantage. Plus the tickets are worth it !

BGM-71 TOW mounted on a MATV. basically a wire guided anti tank missile with a range of 2000m or so, after firing you guide it to the target.

sometimes just one bad squad leader can make you think that, but we won the game :D

i don't think i turn it off in this vid, maybe you're mistaking the green light to be related to stabilization. green light is for when the weapon is ready to fire.

But it can be a benefit to disable stab sometimes, for example if the driver is making a turn and you would want the gun to point where he is turning, may be quicker than traversing the turret if that makes sense.
