Good grief, Jake Blount's band plays some great music but never preach politics at a show. It just annoys people. Now instead of enjoying John Henry I'm sitting here thinking the number of people sitting in prison for selling ganja compared to 20 years ago is basically zero and due to over-crowding, those doing real federal time are almost all violent and sexual offenders. Not to mention to those incarcerated, working is the only reason they have to wake up every day. I understand the precedent working in prison sets but the reality is very different now and old time music ain't the platform for liberal browbeating. Ugh, just play music and entertain, I didn't come to be re-educated.
