I'm thirteen years old as of April 26. I've been through so much in my life. I've been neglected, scared of family, I have trust issues, I have triggers and shit. I've been suicidal. I have scars on my wrists from sh. I have anxiety and suffer from panic attacks. I dissociate. I struggle with derealization. I'm getting better in some ways and worse in others. Around 8 years old I would start staying up "super late" (maybe 10 at the latest) to watch innocent KZbin videos like gloom or azzyland or someone and I would always listen to this exact song so that I still slept well. Mind you, this is while some of the aforementioned stuff was about to start. I'm so grateful for this song and that I'm still here to listen to it. I tried to pull an all nighter last night to catch up on homework but fell asleep around 2. I drank coffee but it wore off around my last period class. I'm also bi and my religion teacher (Catholic school) was talking today about how homosexuals disappoint God and stuff. Last period always is annoying but today my classmates were being stupid and making loud noises and stuff and one part of it must have been a trigger because I had some sort of dissociation reaction and then had that response to triggers that I usually get (idk how to explain it). I've had really bad memory especially on long term memories for the past few days. I think maybe it's because I "shut off my emotions" and dissociate a lot so it doesn't properly form as a memory? Not sure. Just wanted to say thank you again for this video.
