We luckily only had thus happen twice. We got our dog spayed because we didn't want puppies and we also didn't want this. Best of luck. I hear diapers with a hole cut out for the tail works well

Then for no reason you start grabbing her leg and treating her like she’s doing something wrong. Give her affection. Tell her she’s a beautiful girl. Put on a period diaper. Give her treats. Because the dog mom was giving her a negative reaction. Dogs are smart. Dog was wagging her tail, excited to see mom when she walked up. Then mom began reacting to the blood everywhere negatively, acting like the dog had done something wrong. The dog understood this, didn’t do anything wrong and just wants dog mom’s love and approval. So she begins trying to clean it up. Poor sweet girl. Mom needs to consider her feelings. ❤
