Bought a new 30 cal sidewinder comp, some call it the snakellet, anyway received the gun in Jan 2024, took it out of the box filled it with air and shot it. The next day I noticed I had lost 50 bar overnight. So I refilled it, the next morning it was down 50 bar again. So I “snooped it” found the leak, sent a video of the leak to my dealer, and he sent me to AOA, sent the gun to AOA, it was gone 7 weeks, with no updates from AOA, nothing. Nothing in the return box that said what the issue was. I made sure it held air and sold it. Never shot it after it came back. Western in my opinion is only interested in selling guns, not no interest in customer service. They are a slingshot company at best. 7 WEEKS, for a leak!!!!

Dude why are you choosing a Bolt Action to install a thermal scope on? I own the Marlin 925 22mag and it's a good shooting rifle that puts 7 rounds into ¾" @100 yards. But it's not a ideal night predator rig. I own a Ruger 10/22 Magnum and a AR-15 22 Magnum that I have night vision on and it's so much better than the bolt action. Here in Texas with the amount of coyote and hogs we have to deal with having instant follow up shots with a Semi-Auto is non-negotiable. Anyways I hope that setup works out for you and you get some successful hunting in. Keep up the good work.

I bought a Sidewinder .25 from Airguns of AZ. I picked up one spare mag at the same time. I bought it several months ago and it is finally cooling down enough in Phoenix to go outside without bursting into flames LOL. First time loading I noticed the same thing when loading slugs. NSA .249's fit tight in one and fall right out of the other. I didn't want to risk it so I switched to JSB Exact King Heavy pellets and they work fine in both mags. Now this is brand new and the first time out and the problem I'm having is the mag will not index between shots. After each trigger pull I have to assist the mag to index the next pellet. I'm not sure if I should oil this area or maybe it just needs to be broke in. As far as accuracy goes I'm holding amazing groups at 60, 80 and 100 Yds.
