This made me love Tartaglia even more. I think he's just used to being a certain way. My most hopeful mind wants him to heal. He did promise he would return to his family. I really kinda hope Tartaglia doesn't continue down a path of endless battle and genuinely perform a friendship with the Traveller that isn't apparently based on what they have to offer. I'm so invested in his growth that it'd be really neat to see him shed some of that deep shame as NPD operates off of that (to avoid it at all costs) in order to heal. I wanna believe there's a reason he believes in the Tsaritsa's gentleness and the Traveller as a beacon of guiding light. Grrr. Catch me getting invested in a fictional character.

i'm not sure i buy Childe having NPD, there are just too many things to disprove all the prerequisites from him to have it so lets go down the list from 7:15 1. this doesn't match at all, the list states that the self-importance needs to be "without Commensurate achievements" but Childe has plenty of achievements to show otherwise, youngest ever harbinger, surviving the abyss at 14 years old, incredible aptitude for combat, and the list goes on. BIG ego? sure, but it's been established with what he achieved, therefor it doesn't match this criteria. 2. could or could not be, he has a goal of being the strongest he can be, it's not really a fantasy of his, it's something that he works toward every chance he gets, that being said, he could also have fantasies about being greater than he is, so again I think it could go either way. 3.this one is kinda like the last one, depending on how big a scale you think! we know that Childe is the ONLY harbinger that treats his lesser fatui soldiers like actual human beings and not just pawns to be used, it's not hard to say what he thinks of other people that aren't from snezhnaya given what happen at the end of our fight with him tho. 4. ye no, this one is spot on 5. I'm not exactly sure when he act "entitled" exactly, the closest thing i can think of is with signiora, but i don't agree with that take, i think he's actually being more than reasonable given the situation, i don't think he's mad because signiora "stole his thunder" but rather by the fact that he was lied to, and manipulated and used for another harbinger's plan the entire time. He is the youngest harbinger and he wants to always prove himself, being told that you're sent out on an important mission by someone you hold in very high esteem (Tsarista) just for it to turn out that apparently you're not trusted enough to get the job done and you were just a tool for essentialy a coworker, someone who's suppose to be your equal, and she gets all the credit despite you pulling out all the stops and putting your life on the line? how can you not be angry at something like that? 6. ye that's fair 7. again, treats his soldiers well, thus showing empathy... BUT he did try to drown a whole nation to do his job so ye this is MORE than fair. 8. not that i can tell? do correct me if I'm wrong. 9. ye ok checks out. so at absolute worst he matches 6 Criteria, but i think some of them are a bit more contencious or not as extreme as maybe you tried to portray them. I tried not to bring up his family for these points because again they are very special, so just considered general statements and knowledge about him! Childe has something wrong with him quite obviously, but i just don't think NPD matches perfectly, he has parts of it yes! but again i don't think it's a 1 to 1 match. But that's just what i think :)

There is a lot wrong here- Like, "Childe decided to use Foul Legacy because he believe he is stronger than the traveler" is just plain wrong, he used it because he literally snapped and thought the Traveler have the gnosis "Childe send the Traveler to see the adepti because he consider them beneath him" that too, like, hello ? He is a fucking Fatui, do you believe the adepti will trust him ? And as for Signora, he is literally just mad that he have been played

It would ge very fun if in the future we discovered that powerful characters, like Xiangling, Bennett and others were indeed closely related to the gods. We already know that the new character Candance is a literal descendant of a god and that for example Xingqiu is connected with an adeptus by the name Guhua, and Yanfei, Ganyu are daughters of other adeptus. In all honesty I think the adepti are gods within their own right, just subseriant ones, just like Yae is to Ei and Ei was to Makoto. Not to mention that the Traveler siblings might as well be gods in their own right, albeit, not aware of their true powers and origin.

Oh my archon, I would love it we would eventually get a story quest where Barbados starts to seriously deal with his trauma with the help of the Traveler, Jean and Diluc, etc.

Oh yes, I completely agree with you! I could further elaborate that Shenhe comes from an abusive family which gives rise to said homicidal tendencies and the Adepti together with the traveler gives her a sense of security, as if they are her new family to treat her fairly.
