I saw something that said her and Mac truly loved each other, and even now in 2024 with all the drama and stuff she's been through. I think Mac was her one, he was her soulmate but unfortunately he's gone, and I don't think she'll ever love someone like that again. If he wasn't a substance abuser and he wasn't addicted then maybe they'd still be together. I don't think it was that they didn't love each other anymore, it's just hard to be there for someone like that and continue to love them knowing they are destroying themselves despite your pleads for them to stop. So even though she loved him she had to get away, bc watching him hurt himself was hurting her. And then Pete was a rebound obviously it happened way too fast. Then Mac passed away and she probably was still trying to get rid of her feelings, then after finding out it all came rushing back and she had to realize she would never get a chance to see him, speak to him, or be with him again. It's sad

the fact that she was able to continue dancing when she stopped singing to collect herself within less than 30 seconds is insane to me. when i get emotional, my hands start going crazy bc i talk with my hands. when i start crying, i get lost in my own head. i can’t even imagine being on stage in front of thousands of people, getting emotional and being able to finish what im doing. ariana is a queen
