bro a small correction both discretization and meshing have different meaning, meshing means only breaking down into small pieces while discretization means breaking down the whole values into small small values.. other than that clear explanation.☺

Does simply supported beam undergo transverse load (z durextion). Or in SSB, load should always acts in y-direction? Because, if you see fly over construction, the beams are simply rested on a columns. Based on that, I assume the load application in SSB is only in y direction.
