Thank you Dino, this is the best guitar sound I have ever heard from any guitar :) But it took time and awareness to be able to get that specific Django sound. After 3 years of playing it, I still get amazed by how good it sounds and how great it is to play it!

If by dominant you actually mean a 7 chord (which is what I think you mean) then sometimes you can play the dimi arpeggio from the flat nine. Sometimes. It’s best not to make such general claims when they obviously do not hold.

Really great transcription very close to Django (maybe the closest i've heard on KZbin). Whish i learned the solo off this video when i started playing a year ago
@NunoMarinho7 ай бұрын
Thanks mate, I appreciate it :) I've been transcribing Django's solos for quite some years now, and I always look for the best realistic fingerings that enhance the phrasing and the sound Django achieved. That's the most important thing, the feel, the expression. Check out www.NunoMarinho.com for more ;)

That is alternate picking not sweep picking
@NunoMarinho9 ай бұрын
BIRELI plays this lick using sweep picking. I'm not. And if you happen to play Gypsy Jazz in a Manouche guitar, you'll probably understand how difficult it is... this is not an electric guitar.
@NunoMarinho9 ай бұрын
And by the way, you're wrong. I'm not playing alternate picking. I'm playing Gypsy Picking. Maybe you don't know the difference.

Ciao, video molto interessante...
@NunoMarinho11 ай бұрын
No problem with that regard. This one has a specific kind of glue, so the pressure is always the same.
