I need chiari surgery asap been in pain since age 14 had first known seizure while asleep at age 21. Deemed epilepsy but steroids helped a lot better than epileptic meds. I went seizure free almost 2 full yrs. Had hydrocephalus or meningitis or autoimmune inflaming limbic system all ignored my chiari and anything else years bsck when seizures started so they can keep me on Vimpat for my life…. Stopped taking it after 10 yrs on it been a week no seizures ……. It’s not epilepsy it’s not fair my life been ruined stagnant got lots of relief from steroids I think and neurologist don’t give a hell he’s so rude and part of this UHN I WANT Autoantibodies TESTED AND MY CHIARI ADDRESSED IM NOT JUST EPILEPTIC. THIS CAUSES MY SEIZURES IM EASILY EDUCATED BECAUSE IM SMART STEROIDS GOT THAT BRAIN FOG GONE I SEE THROUGH ALL OF THIS NOW…. WOW I NEED SURGERY ASAP SEIZURES DUE TO CHIARI OR AUTOIMMUNE CAN BE CURED. I FEEL BAD FOR MYSELF I TOLD MY NEUROLOGIST YOU ONKY GET TO LIVE ONCE ITS SO SAD HE STAGNATES ME ON VIMPAT SO HE CAN MAKE MONEY OFF MY ILLS. HIS MEDS DONT EVEN WORK NO SEIZURES AFTER WEEK OFF VIMPAT ON SINCE 2014 or before…… EXPLAIN THAT ONE.

Dr Gentili saved my mom’s life. She was diagnosed with a golf ball sized tumour on her optic nerve. We were told it was too deep in her brain to safely remove. But Dr Gentili not only accepted her, but delayed his vacation to do the surgery as most other neurosurgeons refused to operate. The risks were high, paralysis, blindness, loss of cognitive abilities, and death. He operated on my mom for 9 hours. My mom is still here 20 years later with minimal side effects. Thank you Doctor. Life is cruel, but Dr Gentili’s legacy will live on.

UHN is the most corrupt institution in Canada, it is a shame and a threat to human rights. I have video and audio evidence of how their staff operates and the horrible corruption that exists there. Coming soon to NETFLIX the most impressive documentary about it. I love Canada and I believe in Canada. 🇨🇦❤️✨🙌✨ We must combat its decadent and corrupt institutions. Canada must be saved.🇨🇦✨

My fear is that these myths will continue to be perpetuated until EDs are seen as biologically driven and neurometabolic in nature.
@manbrains11 ай бұрын
Can you speak to the metrics by which success of hospital based treatment is based off of? Any articles on this that are open access? What is the resistance toward DBT based programming and continuity of care on an outpatient basis? How can we get mental health organizations across the nation to include support for EDs? It baffles me that the most deadly illnesses, ones that aren't rare by any means, are not represented or considered to be serious. Alternatively, EDs are seen as taboo and too scary to approach. Seems very backwards in terms of "earlier the intervention the better"

Why are MEDACTT resources being cut? Harm reduction is a crucial aspect of promoting quality of life and preventing hospitalization.
