Best live band ever! I first saw them live at the norwich oval in 1995 then the waterfront then the uea then Donnington monsters of rock. I thought they were the greatest band at the time. They should of been huge!

I'll always remember a very young Chris Mac playing me a few snippets of the early demos when he worked at Kings in Sunderland, I've followed the band ever since. Every member that's been through the ranks has brought their own thing to the band, especially the lads from South Shields, a very special band, very much underappreciated in my opinion, Ginger is a phenomenal songwriter. Never ever write him/them off..........

No, it's Tim Smith from Cardiacs, also the influence for their song 'Tim Smith' who helped with producing some of Ginger's stuff. Check out Cardiacs' 'as cold as can be in an english sea' rehearsal.
