I'm so confused which one is the correct baby builder, Chicago to Portland, or Chicago to Twin Cities?

What you're witnessing here is the typical mentality of, "even though I know I should NOT go past the barrier, I'll be alright because ALL those BAD things I read & hear about in the news only happens to other people. It will NEVER or could NEVER be me.........."

I have 1200+ hours in a Meridian, no flap flat take off, the plane did not look overloaded by appearance, didn’t sound like a 1300+ torque take off which is the usual, these planes can easily pull 10-12% over gross and this plane didn’t appear to be anywhere close

That's one hell of a catch! Love the train even though it's nothing special about the movement just the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team; 2/7 Infantry Divisions returning to JBLM as you mentioned after NTC training @ Ft Irwin, CA. What I love about it is that absolute awesome assortment of vehicles on the train. Typically you get all the same or similar military vehicles. But here you have a Hodge podge of LMTV trucks, HEMETT trucks, M-ATV MRAP, Strykers, M9 Ace dozers. MLRS Rocket Launchers, M777 Howitzers, hummers.

Looked like they had trouble getting airborne though! Good job at getting it up though. Always abort takeoff if aircraft doesn't feel to be lifting easily.

Ever since I was little boy, I love the design of F40PH locomotive, After they are amazing 😉, I love passenger trains like Amtrak and commuter trains like Metra of Chicago and CalTrain of San Francisco! I glad Metra uses old Amtrak F40PH locomotives, I wished I lived in Chicago, Illinois so can take ride on Metra Commuter Rail, I’m huge railroad fan of Metra!

I seriously believe that a lot of The early morning and late evening Empire service trains that start and end in ALB-RENS should be extended to serve Schdy and Saratoga Springs. Schdy wants the early trains too...yes I know trains would have to run push pull since there's no turn around facility in Schdy or Saratoga. That would mean Cab cars or 2 locos for that to happen.

I would love to go back here and see how things have changed. Used to be an old yard that was never used with a big building that was run down. Trains would come by every 15 mins depending on the time. Used to live in that area of homes on the hill. The locals would always walk the tracks and UP was cool about it though we all learned and practiced train safety. Hell most trains would stop at the ice cream place and eat real fast. Thought that was super funny parking a loco right next to that place like it was a drive thru. Mid to late 90's they redid all the track, ballast and tore that old yard building down. The date on some of that track was 1940 era. I-84 west on ramp by the bridge used to actually be a 2 lane road. The old highway got turned into a bike path and tourist spot. and that is when they got rid of the two lane. You can see some cool views of trains on it at some spots.
