@@Lookcypher I felt like as a rapper that I would run out of things to say. This was in my teen years. I don't rap anymore but I rapped for 15 years. I learned the truth, which was it's not about saying new things, it's about expression. Jadakiss been rapping about street stuff for 25 years, pusha t been rapping about the same brick for 20 & too short been rapping about Hoes for 30. Everything that a punchline could've been made out of that's not a current event, has been done. You can put a new twist on it or even say something that's already been said, it won't matter. Nobody cares that much. All people care about is how things make them feel. I've been producing for 25 years. The same chord progressions have been getting used forever. I never had the thought of running out of beat ideas but when you look at it, jazz bands, orchestras, rock bands and etc will put themselves in a box & make 20 years of music for the same sub genre with the same instruments, the same rules and the same feels. And for both, collaboration opens up a whole nother realm for possibilities. So yea that's my experience
