It may be that Mary stayed for three months with Elisabeth and Zacharias and was able to share with Mary how that she was a fulfillment of the Messianic prophesies of the Old Testament. After all, Elisabeth's husband had a position with the local synagogue, therefore knowledge of Scripture was a premium.

Mark, I loved your section this morning. Glad I watched, but glad to know more of you.

Having spent many decades in a church with the plurality of elders and having experienced the leading of God through the details, struggles, moving from disagreements to unity and by sharing of Christ's ministry through an elder led church, I have witnessed the depth of growth and ministry via this form of church leadership in Christ's body. I also believe this to be scripturally set out as the best way for a church to lead God's family successfully. There are many places, such as the mortgage of the cottage that are not directly spoken of in the Bible, yet are to be held under the guidance of Christ. (Great example of solution and resolution in the sermon). We (my wife and I) have also seen great value in the ministry of Home Groups as part of the cohesive, interactive growth of both individuals and the body as well. The weekly gathering brings us together to corporately worship our Lord and share in offering all that we are and have been blessed to use our gifts to serve Christ and one another in worship and care. These and many other beautiful ways of living out individual and corporate ministries, as well as being steeped in the scriptural teachings of God, are key reasons we have made Grace our home. We have grown to love the many ways spiritual gifts and service are lived out through each of you in our lives and how our lives have been given freedom to do the same in one another. May God continue leading us forward, drawing others whose hearts are drawn to walk deeply in faith together for His glory.

Sitting in my quiet hour this morning, I was listening to the live stream and heard your version of "Rock of Ages" Candi. It was beautiful, engaging and escorted my heart to The Throne of Mercy and Grace of our Lord. Thank you for blessing my morning. I have downloaded it so that it can be heard again and again. God has given you His heart and great skill for His glory and our good.
