I don't get it. People getting excited over the different ps5 themes. As soon as I learned how to turn it off I reverted back to the ps5 original theme. I would understand if those older retro consoles no longer existed but you can buy a PlayStation classic for as little as £40🤷 Which is much cheaper than your average ps5 game. If people love the nostalgia so much why not just buy a preowned PlayStation classic? I own a ps2, guess how much it cost me. I bought it for under £40 a couple of months ago and use it on my small CRT. I bought a PlayStation 3 super slim last year as well and I got it for under £50 which I play on my 24 inch 1080p monitor. I own most of the older consoles because they are cheap to buy in used game stores like CEX and cash concepts in the UK. When I play my ps5 I want the current gen experience. The ps5 start up is far more impressive than the consoles start up sequences for the generations that came before.When it comes to this update and the 30th anniversary themes, I don't get the hype. At best it's a novelty feature.
