@@alexthediydude con you provide a model or something. It Will be a tablet standing in a wall like a picture, only running one app wich interfaces to display one webpage to interact and only running throught WiFi. The most demanding scenario Will be opening tve page with the security cameras.

And now another sound problem. With a pair of powered PC speakers connected to the earphone jack, they play for a while and then go off and the internal speaker comes on. A pop up comes on the screen on the lower right asking what has just been plugged in earphone or headset/ Select one and then click OK. External speakers come back on for a short while then go off and switches back to internal speaker. As I enjoy listening to online webstreams of music and entertainment I find this situation to be a major annoyance so back to the computer repair shop it will go. A shame that this brand new laptop is such a problem.

Bought one of these from Amazon USA for $239.00 USD. NO ethernet connection so I bought a ethernet to USB adapter from Amazon and that works OK. Next problem I had was no sound when trying to use the headphone jack as a line output to connect to my stereo system like I do with all my other PC and Laptop and got No Sound. I e mailed sgin=tech as that was the only way to contact them. They sent me back a lot of things to try and none worked. Finally I asked about sending it to them for repair under warranty and they replied would I accept a $50 Amazon credit instead so I took that. Took the laptop to a computer shop, they said they made some software changes to get the earphone jack to work. Got it home and still no sound using the earphone jack as a line output and no sound. I tried using a pair of powered PC speakers and those work. Same 3.5mm plug ( TRS ) that is on my patch cord to connect to my stereo system and that still does not work. You have to keep it in mind that this is a Budget Laptop and from my experience the 1 yr warrantee is usless. For the most part I am satisfied with the rest of it I enjoyed viewing this review video here seems honest and straight forward enough

There is none but you can buy an ethernet to USB adapter which is what I did, same for using regular size SD Cards.

Just bought this in Canada for $99 plus taxes. Picture quality is not sharp. Have seen some screen protectors and cases on Ali express. Have 30 days to return it. Bought a Lenovo M 11 and it is amazing. Was on special at Best Buy for $177 plus taxes

Just don't ever lose the power cord (lost mine to a fire)....cause good luck trying to find another factory cord. I've ordered cheap cords on Amazon, where can find, none work... And good luck trying to get a hold of SGIN over in Asia somewhere. You'd think any company worth their salt would understand that customers are going to need extra power cords do to lost or damage....duh! But no, like most companies now, they make it near impossible to simply call them or order another cord that came with product...or have to spend half the day trying to do so. How hard is it to simply create a ordering website with all extra and spare parts to product on. I just don't get how utterly inhumane these new companies are when it comes to customer lack of service.

The one I got for my wife works perfectly. The speakers lack volume so we use externals - she is a teacher, so the whole class needs to hear, not just the front row. There is no CD/DVD player and a serious lack of USBs so externals again and a USB hub. Otherwise, for the price it is excellent.

I also have this exact same sgin x15 laptop. I got it for just under £300.00 stating reduced from £1200.00 supposedly (doubtful) mine works fairly well but struggles to run any games at all. Even limiting to 30 fps with low settings. But after 5 , 6 months the fan has started to make strange noises.. the sound is pretty good on mine and plays 4 k films and streams Netflix on full hd, Amazon prime app is junk, but I am unsure if it is junk for everyone. As not a problem if streaming via browser.. it feels like it's easy to break, but apart from the fan issue it's been good for the price. I would have returned it instantly if I had paid the so called reduced from price. Not bad but better product s for the £300 mark could be found

Watched this video 3 months ago when I bought and here’s a update the mouse pad malfunctions then after a while it started shutting down on its own now it won’t turn on again. I barely used it and it’s not working now. Also after a while the keyboard letters were changing to other letters then the letter O stopped working. I can’t return it as it was a gift and I was not buyer …just don’t buy

I bought this on Amazon based on the high reviews. It was garbage. GARBAGE... then I found out they are paying people for 5 star reviews. I got a letter in the mail offering me a $50 Amazon gift card in return for a 5-star review. A one-star review would be generous...

Have you done key checker just make sure that laptop actually sees that key is being pressed?

The shady part is saying the device was worth 1200 and you are getting it for the amazing price of under 400 Cdn. All the positive comments are obliquely recognizing this by saying... Well it's good for the price paid. It is not comparable to the stated msrp device level. You are NOT saving 75 percent.

Thanks a TON for this video!!! I'm in Canada, and right now, it's $149 on sale from $269; the latter seems costly. The few reviews (76) rate this a 4.5, which seem very high compared with your review. I'm trusting you vs. the more layman ones on Amazon. Bottom line, I will not be purchasing this. I can't thank you enough for a very comprehensive video.

This is going to shock you. Do not buy theses laptops! You are being ripped off. I have just received a laptop SGIN MODEL M17 PRO from a customer of mine to fix a problem with the keyboard. I noticed that the power supply was only 12v and the laptop is a 17" screen! very strange?? being such a big laptop I would have thought it would be at least 19v. OK , I thought, let's open up this pile of junk. Well, first, there is a security sticker over one of the screw holes underneath, I have never seen that before in all the years I've been fixing laptops, what are they hiding......OMG... I do not believe it....they are hiding nothing...and I mean NOTHING......There is NO FAN, NO MEMORY SLOTS, the mother board is not much bigger that a 2.5 in hard drive, the memory is onboard and cannot be upgraded, the ssd is a m.2 cheap netac. If any of you have bought a SGIN 15in or 17in open it and have a look because it's going to shock you to. It's very easy to take apart, do not worry about warrenty because you aint going to get you money back because Amazon will not refund you and you will not be able to contact the seller.

I got mine from walmart it's 8gb ram instead of 6 and it seems to be legit only problem is i cant find a case and the resolution isnt what it said. If anyone knows how to find a case please let me know thanks
