Hours later, the answer! Attach the lift arms and top link, then lift the rototiller blades off the ground. The implement spline may then be rotated to match the tractor. Not as easy as my Ford 1510 (rotates freely when not engaged), but it works.

Never that easy is right! He didn’t have an implement hooked up, just the first half. Like magic! How would that quick-hitch hook up to that brush-hog after the PTO is attached? What if the implement is a rototiller, resting on the blades? The PTO needs a “neutral” to line up the tractor with an immovable implement’s spline. Please re-demonstrate with a realistic example.

I have to beat out the pins on my BH92. they just don't line up in a straight line, there is no position it is loose enough to pull them out. And those extra holes to store the pins, that's the extension required to put the BH on a cab tractor.

For many years working for a school district I ran a John Deere F1145 front mower. 28 HP Yanmar four wheel drive and a 72 inch deck with a mulch kit. We went first to look at Kubota and the deal breaker was that damn treadle pedal. They need to lose it. John Deeres twin pedal hydro is just awesome. Your heel never moves you simply pivot your toes left and right. So comfortable to use. My heel does not bend the way Kubota wants it to for reverse. Yes I know you can pick up your foot and step on the back end of the pedal but it is nowhere near as comfortable. Mulch kit really took care of leaves and with a Curtis hard cab and heater it was just an awesome sidewalk cleaning machine even with turf tires.

Hydro Robs power, Seen tests the Gear drive outperforms the hydro. I understand it may be as much as 5 hp loss on Hydro. If I ever by another new tractor it won't be s Hydro.

Hi my brother has the Kubota tractor 3300su the PTO will not engage I honestly hope you can help with troubleshooting. I've been watching KZbin videos since last night and talking with my brother Mike I live in North Dakota and he's in Tennessee. So I really need help because my brother has had a triple bypass heart surgery so I really worry about him. Thank you

When blowing snow I just shift from 'R' to 'N' when I need to stop, to give the blower time to clear, then I clutch to shift or change range. You can engage the PTO at full speed if you let the clutch slip a bit, but it's better for the clutch and your shear pin to just lower the revs.

Not sure why kubota felt the need to make a gear driven tractor in this size. Hydrostatic would be better in every application I can think of.
@DominicRichens4 ай бұрын
Because it's 5000$ less (incl tax) than the B2601 for pretty much the same tractor (PTO HP, loader capacity etc..)
@user-uw5te3pq8c2 ай бұрын
@@DominicRichens That is pretty much why I chose the 2401 over the 2601. I don't feel like I am missing out on much for 5K.

I prefer a gear drive rather than a hydrostatic transmission. That is why I bought the B2401.

According to the FTC, since at least 2021, Kubota has labeled thousands of those parts as Made in USA when, in fact, they were imported from overseas. In addition, the FTC says that the company moved some its manufacturing to locations outside the United States and yet continued to label those products as Made in USA.Jan 26, 2024

Any tricks for removing the PTo protective cap on new kubota 4060?
@MrPhillip2Ай бұрын
Wrap with a clean rag and yank like hell! The grease forms a vacuum that is difficult to break. It will be difficult until you lose the cap somewhere.

same, probably available at a Kubota dealer. I have heard they are about $300

They are a bolt on option. I didn’t ask for them on mine but they sent it with them installed and so glad they did. When tracking a good distance they are nice.
