"It's (sic) content"... good grief, what would Moore and Moorcock have to say about that?

You can say a lot against the Doors - about sexism and pretentiousness in Morrison, but musically Manzarek knew his stuff. Mike what were you thinking?

By coincidence, before PJ mentioned it was also thinking that the woman seated next to him resembled Priscilla Presley. In the 1960s PJ recorded demos of songs for Elvis before Elvis recorded them. In fact, I had only ever heard Elvis himself sing “Love Letters” before watching the video above. I have to think that Elvis listened to PJ’s demo recording of it before recording it himself. As someone who saw Elvis perform live I saw some similarities in both of their manners of speaking and gestures. PJ Proby reminds me a bit of Jerry Lee Lewis, both were somewhat on the wild side in their younger years. Coincidentally, both had their early tours of the UK cut short due to “scandals”.

I knew Kris many years ago, in the 1980's, when I was about to go to art school . We were friends and shared a love of the gothic, The Cramps & Lou Reed. I had great respect for him, admired his amazing talent for drawing & creativity and loved his personal style. Although we lost touch through time, I always thought of Kris & saw him as a magical, mysterious character who greatly influenced my life. I'm sad to hear he is no longer here. Helena

This is SO cool. Moorcock is such a prolific genius. Pyat is so fascinating, repelling and attracting simultaneously, just like nature which is neither good nor evil.

We've done some recent interviews with Moorcock, here's the first one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2OwZoRmr7GYbpo
Kit Pedler also wrote or co-wrote 6 1960s Doctor Who stories and co-created the Cybermen with Gerry Davis. Seeing him on this with Terry Jones would've been iconic, but alas 😢. RIP to all of them.

Thirty five years ago I was in my teens and what my friends and I did on the weekends was drive over one hundred miles to Atlanta to look for Moorcock novels in hole in the wall used book stores. Mike is a literary god and don't you EVER forget it.

Michael Moorcock is a writing god and one of the most wonderful human beings I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I wish with all my heart I could just give him a big hug and tell him how much he meant to a few teenagers in Tennessee three decades ago and still today. I LOVE YOU MIKE ❤ R.I.P. Terry Jones, you are missed by many!
