Nice video! I have a question.. when you did the editing in the midi clip and it only showed 4 notes, How did the changes apply to all notes instead of only the ones you had selected?

When he set up the midi clip he set it up for 1 bar and then made sure the clip was set to “loop” so whatever he puts in bar one repeats over the entire clip. Hope this helps

Good tip - Seen it elsewhere on a popular channel not long ago. My only advice is to makeup gain by ear and not by what it tells you on GR. Makeup until you hear the volumes are about the same before/after

If anyone is wondering, matching boost and attenuation means you are not adding or cutting at all, it totals to 0db. But, you get the 'color' of the plugin, thus the warmth or character of it. You can also often get a similar sound with tape delays with all delay turned off, or just a light saturator.

Bro just choose the right sample kick and make it louder than everything else on the mix and tie the bass and kick together so they don’t interfere
