I wish there was a way to send a private message through KZbin instead of public posting here. That being said, I hope this doesn't come across as an attack in any way. This is just sharing information. Here goes :) When you get a chance (unless you have done all the following already lol) get a Snark-type tuner that clips on to the head of the ukulele. It has different settings for uke, guitar, cello, violin, bass, and very accurate. Also, unless you haven't done this already, change the original strings for Aquila strings, They are sturdier, and not as "bendy" as the original nylons. The tone you will get will make a world of difference. After almost a year and a half of having your uke, not sure if you have gotten adventurous with working on it yet, but you may look into possibly lowering the string height at the nut and at the bridge. Saddle, actually. Any guitar or uke I get that has crazy high strings has a horrible effect on the playing, making the strings sound out of tune despite all the tuning I do. Lowering the strings makes it easier to play your uke, and definitely saves your fingertips lol There should be tons of videos on how to file the nut slots, and cut down the saddle on the bridge. Or, if you are not comfortable in doing this yourself, your local guitar shop may not charge too much to lower the action for you. If you were close to me, I'd happily do this for free :) I am practicing on becoming a luthier, and really don't charge for stuff like this. I salute you, and hope that you do a follow up video on your uke playing after a year and a half of owning it. Still play?Moved up to a different uke? Your thoughts now on your DH uke? THANKS!!!

THANK YOU! I was trying to figure out how to operate it (particularly the slow cook function) before I bought one. The manual they have online on the website omits some crucial steps but I managed to pause your vid on the instruction sheets at around 4:23 and read all the info I needed. Thanks for posting!

+LMF5000 that is so cool. So glad to have helped you. I love this. Never used the slow cooker setting only the pressure cooker, but it makes dinner time so much easier. Thanks for sharing!

I can see where this works for you, but this would be FAR from time saving for me. I do a week's worth of laundry for four kids in about 3 hours, total. And I fold all of it and put it away. The thought of doing laundry every day stresses me out. (And there's no way I could handle clothes all over the dresser, hah.) But here's push for your view count!

Thanks for your comment. I've thought of doing laundry one day a week, and that overwhelms me. If I did that it would take me all day. You sound like you've got this laundry thing figured out. Our family grew from two to four literally overnight as foster parents, now adoptive parents. Dirty clothes seemed to have more than doubled, with an infant and a toddler. Just out of curiosity, how many loads of laundry do you do on that one day each week? I'm wondering if I should be encouraging of rewearing jammies and not putting every single thing worn into the dirty clothes. That may save time as well. Thanks again for your comment.

2-3 loads max. And yes, I encourage re-wearing of anything not obviously dirty or smelly (like pants). Shirts, socks, undies, get washed after 1 wear. My kids separate lights from darks and I usually have 2-3 loads in winter, but summer time I might only have one load given no socks and lots of sundresses. It was my NY resolution last year to get my laundry situation under control, and now it is just our Monday chore that doesn't overwhelm me. My 2 oldest help with folding but if I'm on top of it, the actual *work* is done in about 45 minutes (the rest is just waiting on the cycles to go through).
