ugh! I am so torn if we should visit Gothenburg or Stockholm! Will be in Sweden in May 2025.

I've only visited Stockholm in February for the Furniture Fair, and both times it was snowing so didn't get to see much of the city! So it's hard for me to say, but I can def vouch for Gothenburg being lovely in May! How long is your trip to Sweden? Can you not squeeze both in?

@ hmm can’t! can only choose between the 2 because we’re coming from norway, spending more time there.. then go to denmark after sweden 😅

@@alexasdiaries wow, sounds like a great trip! Gothenburg would be more en route if you're driving between Oslo and Copenhagen, and the coastal scenery is spectacular...

@ haha that’s what i thought too, initially. but i guess we will have too many sceneries already in Norway.. so we’re just gonna be flying out to Stockholm instead just for a change. I am excited!

The YT algorithm knows me well, your channel is perfect, so glad it showed it to me! We travelled to Kansas city for my niece's wedding in July and enjoyed it immensely. My partner and I love checking out coffee shops (he's a total coffee snob and will only go to places that serve their drinks in ceramic or glass....no paper for him) and preferably espresso with a sidecar of fizzy water. No other travel plans, but for my birthday last week we drove into San Francisco and had coffee in the Mission District and explored the shops on Valencia, had Korean food for lunch, visited the de Young Museum and Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate park and had burmese food for dinner. The next day we went to Healdsburg and checked out Plank for coffee and pastries, then hit up Bollywood for indian food, checked out some lifestyle stores and antique markets around the square. Flying Goat for more coffee and pastry. People watched in the square. Saw art at Hammerfriars Gallery then ended up at Fogbelt where we drank beer and ate cerviche while watched the olympics. It was a perfect birthday weekend.
