Great video dude It's really nice that lately the youtube algorithm seems to be promoting smaller content creators. Just some feedback hope you take it in good spirit: The background music is much louder and tbh distracting from the actual reason why someone would be watching this video and that's your commentary and sometimes it feels like the music isn't a great fit for the topic or it misses the mood you are trying to set. Again this is just my experience. But still nice video hope you keep at it.

I appreciate the depth of research, interpretation and opinion you go through for this film and video essay. I encourage you to keep your sincere and thorough style, as they seem in shorter supply these days as people chase algorithms. All that said, there are things you can do to improve your video essay craft. The pt.4 “inspirations” section could serve as a great hook near the beginning of the essay, used to catch as wide of an audience as you can, as you reference more contemporary titles which can naturally segue into this older film. The advantages of a video essay are really under-utilized throughout this entire runtime, as there are no juxtapositions proving the influence of angel’s egg to other titles. There is a constant disconnect with the images portrayed vs the narration. You spend ~16mins (or ~⅔) of your runtime summarizing the movie, and I struggle to recall where you backup/support the bold claims in your title. This comes off as both false advertisement and a waste of time for the audience, which are huge turnoffs. Your choice of music, and the balancing where its levels compete with your voice do you a disservice. At times, your voice is lost under music that will certainly hurt your viewership access and monetization. In addition, there were times where I your pronunciations were muddy or simply wrong, hurting your credibility. I found myself needing to rewind in the first minute where you established you’re religious, almost thought you said “anals egg,” and Jung for “Jung’s archetypes” is pronounced “yuung,” rather than like jade or jug. I would strongly encourage getting feedback on scripts before video-editing, and feedback on the video essay before publishing. I would also encourage watching “F for Fake,” a pseudo documentary by Orson Wells that is sharply edited for captivating effect. There is no doubt you care deeply about the subjects presented in your essay. But you must also show deep care for your audience.
